Ciudad Victoria.-La diputada local Lucero Deosdady Martínez López, de Morena, afirmó que en Tamaulipas ya se aplica la prohibición a los estudiantes por el uso de teléfonos celulares en las escuelas, como recientemente se aprobó en Querétaro.
En entrevista, la legisladora consideró que cualquier esfuerzo para proteger a los niños de los riesgos de redes sociales merece tener continuidad, por lo cual esta restricción ya se considera desde hace varios años.
Martínez López explicó que debido a que el Congreso de Tamaulipas busca ampliar la protección a los menores de edad que pueden ser dañados, engañados o sufrir acoso a través de internet, es necesario mantener restricciones en el acceso que tienen a teléfonos inteligentes.
La diputada morenista dijo “de hecho yo tengo conocimiento que en ninguna institución educativa de Tamaulipas se permite hacer uso de los celulares, se permite quizá utilizar tablets o medios tecnológicos pero solamente con las aplicaciones educativas”.
Añadió “creo que sí es importante y que sí tiene que ver con la educación que se le dé a los padres y prohibirles (a los niños) el acceso a las redes sociales”. La diputada lamentó que a través de las redes los menores de edad se expongan a que un adulto intente aprovecharse de ellos.
Además, hizo un llamado a los padres de familia a vigilar a sus mejores hijos debido a que existe una tendencia a que los niños imiten las actitudes de los llamados influencers que muchas veces son nocivas.
Señaló que entre otras cosas los influencers basan sus contenidos en la apariencia lo cual orilla a los niños a hipersexualizarse y ser blancos fáciles de personas mal intencionadas. Martínez López se pronunció por aumentar todos los esfuerzos para permitir a los menores vivir una vida libre de violencia o acoso.
