Reynosa, Tamaulipas. – Como parte de las acciones preventivas coordinadas por el Gobierno de Tamaulipas, el secretario de Recursos Hidráulicos para el Desarrollo Social, Raúl Quiroga Álvarez, sostuvo una reunión de trabajo con alcaldes y representantes municipales de la franja fronteriza de Tamaulipas.
El objetivo principal fue coordinar esfuerzos precautorios ante el inicio de la Temporada de Ciclones Tropicales, con el fin de minimizar los riesgos para la población.
“La idea es que realicemos un simulacro, de manera que cada uno regrese a sus municipios con la información necesaria sobre lo que debemos hacer para garantizar la seguridad de nuestra población y nuestras áreas productivas”, mencionó Quiroga Álvarez.
Durante el encuentro, se hizo hincapié en la importancia de mantener en óptimas condiciones los drenes pluviales y canales, elementos clave para reducir las inundaciones, destacando la necesidad de realizar inspecciones periódicas a estas infraestructuras para garantizar su buen funcionamiento durante la temporada de lluvias.
Asimismo, se discutieron las estrategias para fortalecer la capacidad de respuesta ante posibles emergencias hidrometeorológicas, acordando trabajar de manera coordinada entre los gobiernos estatal y municipal.
“La idea es generar este grupo de coordinación ante la Temporada de Ciclones Tropicales, que comienza en nuestra zona el primero de junio”, afirmó Quiroga Álvarez.
Finalmente, el secretario de Recursos Hidráulicos exhortó a los ediles y representantes municipales a proporcionar toda la información que permita enriquecer el material disponible de las ciudades en materia de drenaje pluvial y agrícola.
